Mount Dana (elevation 13,057') is a
mountain on the eastern edge of
Yosemite National Park. It was named after
James Dana[?], a professor of
geology at
Yale. Mount Dana is composed of reddish
metamorphic[?] rock. Mount Dana is a class 1 climb (hike), 3 miles and 3000' elevation gain from the road at
