Academy Awards, was directed by

Sam Waterston,

Julian Sands[?]. Ngor won the
Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role;
cinematographer Chris Menges[?] won an
Academy Award for Best Cinematography. The film also won for Best Editing.
